Max and Lily are big!
They want to walk everywhere and do this adorable skip run step when they are in the Park.
Every day is an adventure, with important things to do, like collecting sticks & leaves, while trying to work out how to get on the horsy by yourself, because "I's BIG"
Throwing coat, jackets and beanies off, because they get in the way of doing things
working out how to dig a hole, as with most things, together
or just being gorgeous
They are the best of mates, always checking up on each other and our mornings and evenings are filled with their laughter, when they crack each other up babbling, talking and singing.
We have three word sentences, Mumma, more UP ( pick me up Mummy) ; Dadda Stuck! out ( being strapped into the pram or high chair) and at various times, an opinion as to what to wear, what to eat and thoughts on what they should be doing. They mimic what we do ( i own so much $$$ in the swear jar) and wanting to help is a big deal, because " I's big".
They are an absolute delight and our lives are much richer for having them. For those of you behind me, watch out, this time goes so fast, i am sure it was only yesterday that they came home.

ReplyDeleteThey are gorgeous! And look so fun! I remember seeing them in the hospital when we were in Delhi to start, and it like yesterday too.

ReplyDeleteHow cute are they? Have to agree with you how quickly the time goes...life really is short so you have to grab it with both hands...just like all of us who have been or are on this surrogacy journey! Glad I found SCI and thanks will never be enough
